Experimental learning.

Overall conclusion is that the college has been a wonderful journey to explore knowledge, technology, Its usage and a way to achieve more in our life.

I took WBJEE and AIEEE and I scored 25000 in WBJEE and 4000 state rank in AIEEE. I decided to go with this college because of its reputation in terms of private engineering colleges.

The course curriculum is actually decided by the WBUT and I would say that the courses were a little outdated as compared to those of present day syllabus. The curriculum needs to be improved. However the learning that we get till the end if sufficient enough to survive in IT industry.

College internship is again a fun entertaining commercial learning about IT industries. A lot of things is being learnt in a short span of time related to present IT scenario. There was no stipend offered during the internship but this internship was mandatory for all of us.

Placement expectation is moderate some companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, ITC infotech,Igate do visit our college and recruit but not on a mass scale. On a regular scale, everyone gets placed in some of the start up companies and big companies and pool drives conducted. The salary offered is more or less the same,near about 3.25 lpa(approx).

This is the best part about this college the college remains entertaining with all kinds of cultural activities, fests, freshers, teacher's day celebration and what not participation in those events is a must thing for all of us and various bands perform in the fest. So overall,its a fun journey along with education.

The fee structure is quite feasible its near about 4 lacs for the entire course fee divided into 8 semesters. The average semester fee is near about 40,000 along with an admission fee of 65000 during the admission.

Minority quota tuition fee waiver are some of the known scholarship programs available. One can avail the minority quota once he takes admission in the college and the TFW quota needs to be availed during WBJEE.

Gender ratio is perfect in our college with different kinds of sports being organised. The entire week is dedicated for the sports section. Many debates and other related competitions are also being held.

The hostel facility is standard but it needs improvement in the food department. However the hostel rates are very cheap. The monthly rental would be near about 3500 and it keeps increasing every year. There is gym, tv and good security guards.

Senior students were always helpful about the placement issues, study issues, what to study, where to study from, how to study etc. They always help and so do we help our juniors to achieve the best.

Exams and Labs are conducted on a regular routine basis and it has never been hectic. The time table is designed in well mannered condition exams on the lab classes are also held on a very smart and easy basis.

Faculty is the best part about this college. Some faculties were exceptionally brilliant teachers and some were dull. But we have to accept that and also most of the learning is done by ourselves only. As such, thats not a problem for us.
