It's good for the student who really want good job and for students whose house is near to college, but SMITand ROLAND also same in the level in terms of placements. So it doesn't matter whether you join NIST/ROLAND/SMIT. All you need is to spend your time and read. GOOD:-There is a separate block for each department. The academic infrastructure is top class. Labs are of course well-equipped and also have equipment which are not usually found in any other colleges of the city.

ORISSA-JEE, RANK-1584, it is the no 1 college in orissa state, and i have chosen this college because of facility and teaching of this college faculty are tremendous and very important is the infrastructure are very good, thats why i have chosen this college.

In our college their are many extra course are conducted in summer vacation like programming courses, vlsi courses etc and the course teacher are coming out side in our state, mostly from nit, iit.

Internships enable you to gain experience in careers that you may be considering for your post-graduate plans. Your internship experience may present new career interests and pathways or may direct you in the completely opposite direction from which you originally planned.and our college offered stipend monthly rs.1500.

SANKALP- The NIST-ISTE chapter holds a three-day All-India event called "SANKALP" each year comprising more than 25 technical and cultural programs. WAVES(ANNUAL FUNCTION)- A special event called "Waves", held every year, highlights the cultural talent of our incoming batch. "Waves" is a smash-hit with students. It is replete with dances, debates, skits, mono-acting, just-a-minute sessions, painting, cartooning, tattoo-making, dumb charades, antakshari, rapid-fire quiz and multi-cultural fashion parade. Students also put up their own food and games stalls. "Waves", therefore, is total fun. Each hostel also organizes its own extra-curricular activities.
