Remarks

Faculty is what matters for me, I liked this college bcoz it provided me with a great atmosphere and ambience. The college and the city was a blessing for history buff. The crowd in the college is among the best in India and I really wanted to enjoy the vibrant mood and life here parallel with my studies. I opted for this course bcoz I always wanted to became an archeologist.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was quite good but it was more favourable to Cbse students. Industrial exposure was decent. Faculties were good, Tho we didn't hv teachers or classes for the second Sems. Sahana ma'am is really excellent and hardworking teacher.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 11240 per year

No, I wanted to do a French certification course from Delhi university.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good. But as a history and humanities student you have to study more in order to get a better job like teaching, UPSC, Archeologist etc. So for us we don't depend much on college placements.

College Events

Campus is really healty. We have fests of different societies in different times. From Diwali Mela to Department and College fest we have everything. Our college had a large number of participants in the fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships / fees cut is avaliable for economically backward students but u have to provide valid income certificate for that.

Campus Life

Sports - 7/10 Wi-Fi - 5/10 Library - 9/10 Equipment - I don't know I'm not using them. Toilets are well maintained. Lifts are also there which u can use but only with permission. Also there is pathways for visually impaired person's.

Hostel Facilities

I live in separate flat which costs around 6000Rs. Excluding electricity charges. It has one balcony, a kitchen, a washroom,a hall and a bedroom. Food cost is different. I have applied for hostel in our college but the cutoffs were high at 98% and we had Only 3 beds so I didn't get.

Hostel Fee: INR 9000 per year

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
