Gauhati University is one of the best University in the North East India. It also located in my own city therefore I choose to study here and not to go for any other university. This university always tries to provide every possible facilities to students. Many college and Institute are working under the university. Gauhati university itself providing a great service in the education system of Assam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of Women's Studies covers very important topics of our society. It is both an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary course which includes all types of subject. Therefore it helps to increasing knowledge about various subjects in one syllabus.
Placement Experience
There are many opportunities to get job in some social working job's like NGO'S who are working for women empowerment or something else.
College Events
The campus itself created an amazing environment, the architecture of buildings in the campus and in front of every building there are a statue of people related with our culture, literature or with something great works. There are so many Hall's where every facilities are available to organize program. Varsity week is one of the big festival organized in the campus, in varsity week every department of university takes part in various competition.
Campus Life
The campus of Gauhati University is very large, and all the facilities are available in the campus. The Library of the University is one of the most attractive part of the campus. The library has all the facilities of WiFi, study table, computer room and numbers of books. There are lots of play grounds in the campus. Botanical Garden is also available in the campus.
