Remarks

Thapar University has a very good nirf ranking (top 25). It has top class infrastructure and the main highlight is its library. Hostels are really good and have decent mess food too. The tutuion fee is on a higher side.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was according to UGC NET and GATE syllabus. The faculty is all highly qualified and experienced and most of them have post doctorate. All the labs are well equipped and you get good experience. Faculty was also really helpful.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

The average package at Thapar Institute Patiala is of Rs 8.5 Lakhs, Thapar offers great placement option since they have tie-ups with a lot of companies & moreover the companies themselves want to visit Thapar for the recruitment process.

Thapar has various societies and all of them hold their events in the whole year. One of them is FROSH. Every year FROSH team oraganises PROEM week at time of orientation in which faculty lectures, guest lectures by awesome people, workshops ranging from dramatics to coding and astronomy, campus tour, LOAN Gaming, interaction with seniors, Tresure hunt and many fun events take place which end with PROEM Night.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
