College is awsome, i like this college very much everything here which we need like bank, food canteen, sports ground, every playgroud for differents sports, etc.

Entrance Preview

Recently, i passed out my 12th with commerce from khalsa sector 30 chandigarh i got 60% i want to join B.Com so i decided to go Punjab university currently i am doing B.Com here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is good here no problem full decorated good study fully managed classroom everything available here udy also good here, good teachers, good study, everything.

Internships Opportunities

Mostly, bank agents come here and offer us to join our bank as a part time or full. That good those who are intersted they fill up their forms and doing jobs in their company its so good and i thankful for them.

Placement Experience

There are many job opportunites here like many jobs in banks, accountant, charted accountant, cost accountant etc thankuful to them.

Our college celebrate every festival in our college they fully decorated stage and students showing their talent in the stage college give a change to every single student to show their talent they fully decorated their stages and college during occasion like anual function, independaence day celebration, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is bery felxible not a high fees so, everyone easily afford their fees thanku first they take 6000rs for frst semester and after that 2000rs for second semesters its not a high price.

Loan provide servie is good here they provide education loan to students at very low interest this is realy good for student and their parent also.

Campus Life

Everything is good here, good sport coaching, good sport teachers, etc they daily provide us a good exercise that better for good health they provide regular excercise, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are very good in our college they provide food at gievn time, like in morning 10am their provide breakfast at 2 pm they provide lunch and at 8 pm they provide dinner.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Mostly student are good there i have no objection for any problem of senior student they help us when we are in problem thats good and awsome.

Exam Structure

fully security in during exam..2 3 teachers rounding in a classroom,..teachers check every student during exam,,and if any student try to cheat , teacher take their paper withourt any argument ,,,its so nice

Learning and Growth at PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

First SEM Experience

Placement Experience:

Around 80-90% of the students get placed in my course. The average package is 3LPA - 5LPA. This college has a decent placement record. The highest package offered is 7.6LPA. Companies like Google , Deloitte , Amazon , Infosys , Wipro , etc. come to the campus to pick excellent students for their company. The college also has a dedicated placement cell which helps the students to prepare for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.
