Thakur College is under Mumbai University and mumbai university is considered as one of the best in India. Thakur college is also one of the top college is mumbai. I had some friends who suggested me this college. I searched about it and found out that this college has better placements results and overall co-curricular development.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is always updated as per the university guidelines. The teachers are experienced and have a deep knowledge about the particular subjects. There are industrial visits for students where they can learn about the outside world.
Placement Experience
Major number of students in college are from commerce department. So companies visiting for Placements are from finance or commerce like J.P.Morgan and ICICI. After that companies like TCS and Infosys visit every year in the college.
College Events
Thakur college has a good presence on social media platforms. Taarangan festival is the inter-collegiate festival organised by thakur college. It is managed by students it self. They have there departments like PR and Finance. Other festivals and events are also held by thakur college. Thakur college is also best at outdoor events.
Campus Life
The college is well equipped with physics and chemistry labs with all the facilities. The biology lab is also very well equipped. The classroom for professional courses are equipped with AC's. There is canteen facility in the campus. It has its own auditorium and its own stadium just behind the college. Computer labs and library is also there. We can find all the books ranging from study material to top novels in the library.
