Yukta Patil's Review On JSPM'S Rajarshi Shahu College Of Engineering - [RSCOE] Tathawade, Pune

I choosed RSCOE because of its infrastructure, placements and faculty. The college area has spacious environment with well equipped labs, classrooms, libraries, canteens, hostels and greenery surrounding the pathway. Faculty of RSCOE is very hardworking and dedicated to motivate us all the time to participate in extra curricular as well as balance academics at the same time. Placements assure 70 to 80% students placed every year.

The course of each branch is designed in the point industries' need. Various industries like KPIT, TCS, Capgemini have provided the design of various courses according to industry's today's need. Regular visits to industries, substations, generation stations help in giving us exposure to real time application of our theoretical knowledge. The academics are conducted well and precised that makes students excel in university exams. The top 10 students in university exams are from RSCOE almost every year.

I was selected for internship at KMITL University Thailand. It was not a paid internship but I got to learn a lot during the process. I got the internship through college students exchange program but due to pandemic, I had to complete my internship on virtual platform. My duration of my internship was 30 days.

The placements of RSCOE are well versed for packages upto 22LPA. Almost 75 to 80% students are placed in Companies like Capgemini, KPIT, TCS, Hexaware, Zensar, Talentio, Sigma, L&T, Tech Mahindra, BOSCH, IBM, Bentley, Gotten and many more. Our college has tie-ups with national and international universities for student exchange programs and internships. Entrepreneurship are well developed. One Entrepreneurship program is developed by our college that takes responsibility of 5 villages every year and develops the villages. Many more such entrepreneurs cells known as Ed cells are developed in RSCOE.

RSCOE conducts a national event every year known as INNOVISION based on various themes where students from all over Pune and Maharshtra participate in various events. Cultural events like Gandharva also takes place that entertains the audience along with technical events. Over 10k+ students participate in these event along with 2k+ faculties. Go kart by Supra, Robo soccer by Robotics committee, hackathon avishkar are some of the listed events that take place every year. Every committee, branch arranges huge number of different events.

College offers large number of scholarships including government scholarships which pays off on basis of caste. Other scholarships that are offered in college comes from companies like Cummins India that provide tests and assessments. The students who crack this scholarship test and interview rounds get eligible to free education from Cummins India. All the fee of college and related activities are paid by the organisation. Many other scholarships are also offered from different organisations through college.

RSCOE campus is long and spacious. We have well equipped labs, spacious libraries, AC classrooms, AC seminar halls, AC Auditoriums, hostels and canteens. Wifi is also available at a good range. Computer and IT labs are designed by KPIT giving Air conditioned laboratories for research and collaborations. Workshops labs for mechanical students, robotics labs, electric vehicle research lab are also some infrastructural features of RSCOE.
