Remarks

Overall college is good there is nothing bad but yes, you are on your own if you want to make your college life a better learning experience. Participate in the events you like and attend the workshops. Try not to come in clash with management, they can really screw you badly all the best.

Entrance Preview

I got a rank of 3000 in WBJEEE and no government colleges were available that year for outsider and for this rank RCC was the only best option finally had to settle for this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It offers a vast variety of courses in B.E. there are around 7-8 branches that you can choose from. I chose information technology you can choose based on your interest and your marks in exam it also offers post graduate programs like MCA, MBA etc.

Internships Opportunities

This college doesn't provide internship program but you can always go out and join some training you won't get any stipend though but it's good to boost up your knowledge. Also, it matters when you give interview for placement interviewee may ask you questions based on your training.

Placement Experience

4

As I mentioned earlier, this college is renowned for its placement opportunities just study well and make sure you don't have any backlogs and they will allow you to sit in almost all the companies that appear companies like CogNiZant, TCS, Wipro, Accenture and L&T come every year companies like Tech Mahindra, Avaya, Syntel may or may not come almost all the companies offer 3.5 lacs per annum as the beginning salary, no matter you are B.E or MCA student.

College Events

3.5

Each year there are necessarily 3 events held farewell for senior students, fresher's for new students and get together for same branch students it's good opportunity for students who are interested in extra curricular activities also there is an event tech acme which is a big event that includes all different competitions and students from other colleges can also participate it's a great event that gives you the best exposure for your talent.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is okay i paid 60k per year which was not expensive given its infrastructure, campus placements opportunities, labs facilities i am not sure about the fees now. This fee includes the bus charges and other applicable charges please keep the receipt of paid fees properly is might come handy when clearing out the dues after finishing college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College as such doesn't provide scholarship programs but if you are eligible you can avail minorties or proficiency scholarship that M.P. government provides.

Campus Life

2.5

If you are worried about ragging then leave it at home before the college zero tolerance policy. They are really strict when it comes to the complaints of raggings. They are various groups like cultural group, basketball, football group you may join anyone based on your interest just like the college has its parties same way hostels have same kind of parties aaj it's a double fun don't worry about gender inequality, none of the discrimination exists in college.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are very nice, very clean and spacious food is also good I mean you can never get the taste of home but it's eatable they maintain hygiene in mess so that's a plus point.

Alumni/Alumna

We have an active facebook group and also aluminum meet is organized by college once in 5 years to give you chance meet the friends and faculty you are not in touch with.

Exam Structure

Each semesters there are 2 exams which we call mid-sems which is like a revision of the course finished so far make sure you get good marks, based on these marks only you get sessional and if they are less your overall final results might get affected.

Faculty

3.5

They were good but most of them were not interested to teach or had no interest to make students involved at start we had language problem as well as they teached in local languages few teachers came to take attendance only.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
