Remarks

Kirori mal college ranks 11 among the best educational institutions of India. And It is considered for bcom programme among all the colleges of Delhi University.The colleges' societies have a great ambiance as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is genuinely updated and based on the CBCS syllabus.In our course, the main focus is given on the presentations, doing internships etc. Faculties of the college are genuinely very good. They help each and every student to overcome the difficulties.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college is very good and has good ambiance. The companies include Deloite, KPMG etc. The placement process is very lengthy.METVY is the famous and well knowned start-up by our senior.

College Events

The college has done excells in organising events and fests. Also the college societies like Round table,The commerce society,FIC etc. organises very good events and competitions. People from all the colleges of Delhi university can participate in that.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have taken any loan. And I don't have any knowledge according to that. But I think that would be given to The good scorers of DU.

Campus Life

Our college infrastructure is very good. The practical labs, library are properly structured so that students don't have to face any difficulty. The college provides very good sports facilities and the WiFi is also good.

Hostel Facilities

I don't live in hostel. I love in PG and the facilities they provide are very good and worth the cost. They costs me 12000 per month and additional electricity charges.The average rentals would be approx 9000-10000 per month. And hostel facilities will cost you 45000-50000 per year.

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
