i came here 1)in order to get exposure 2)to pursue my BA through a prestigious institute 3)i have heared about it very much 4)the colleges in my state were not very good in education, there were even very few colleges to provide good education there. 5)the name University of Delhi attracted me very much 6)the list of aluminis of college also attracted me 7)to learn new things not only academically but also in other fields 8)to explore a new city
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a very diversified course. It is specially for those who donot know or donot decide what to do after their HSS exmaination. There is a lot of carrier options available after the completion of this course.
Placement Experience
since my course doesnot involve anything about it, i have no knowledge about it. But i have heared a lot about the placement cell of the college.
College Events
Events are a daily thing in the college. cultural fests, department fests, college's grand fest, are the main events. Also the events like seminars on carrier counselling, UPSC, MBA educational seminars etc are also happen in regular basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got the PMSSS(Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme), a scheme of central government only for students of J&K (must be a permament state subject and whose family income is less than 8 lakh per year) who want to pursue their higher studies outside the state. According to it, you will be allotted a college according to the preference filled by you earlier. Also you will not have to pay any fee for the admission and you will get 1 lakh per year as the financial aid.
Campus Life
Campus Infrastucture is excellent. There is a big lawn in front named Ashoka lawn, a big sports ground, college hostel for boys is in the campus but there is no hostel for girls. The main building is a big single structured building having two blocks (science and arts block). The library of the college is very quite and also has a lot of books on diverse courses.There is a big canteen in the college campus. Also there are two other lawns excluding the Ashoka Lawn i.e. library lawn and canteen lawn.
