Manish Rathi's Review On Jaipur National University - [JNU], Jaipur

I read the reviews online and saw this university got good reviews in google and so I chose it. I had applied to colleges in shillong and they dint respond quite well amd since the time got over I had this university as Backup. I wanted physics hons and it was not there in every college so i ended up landing here.

Course curriculum is not that great. If you can study by your own, it doesnt matter which university are you from. In my university, poor selection of elective subjects and relative negligence of teachers. 50% of teachers are dedicated towards educating you like they are too hard working but rest are useless and and they hold up higher positions.

Placement and job opportunities are good but most of students chose to do higher degrees and the placement cell is quite dumb, I am in physics major and i got job recommendation from a software company. One lucky charm got placed in Amazon for 27lakhs pa. Average salary packages are between 3-5lakhs or if you are smart enough, you would choose to do a masters degree or a phd

Campus life is good except thatit feels like you are in school cuz you cannot go out untill the day is over. And if you somehow manage to escape and got caught, boom you're fined. We have a tech fest which is pretty big event and thats the best part, also we have this sports week where you can show your qualities. Students participate in them with full enthusiasm. Personally my campus holds greater number of activites on various occasions like lohri, rangoli making, birthday celebrations and all.Other campuses donot.

I scored highest in my program and got a check of 5000rs every year and thats a benifit. Once you enter the college you get scholarships on basis of your percentage in 12th, for example i got a check of 7000 when i entered and then 5000 for top scores in both first year and second year

campus infrastructure is good. We have three campuses one for medical, engineering, basic sciences, law and business management another for a few more branches of engineering, pharmacology, computer appications, journalism and there is one more for life sciences and nursing and medical lab practitioners.
