I searched online for best colleges for bachelor of maths and I got to know about delhi university. So I researched and checked the rankings,fees and everything. I applied for delhi university and I got many choices but due to the great location,affordable fees,good department reviews,I decided to take admission in Ramjas

Course Curriculum Overview

My course syllabus was good.As a math graduate I know how important the basic is and that's what was in our syllabus.About exposure i will say it could have been better. I personally feel the faculty was good, few teachers really put their efforts to make us understand the difficult concepts

As a maths graduate students are not looking for jobs at this stage but my few friends were placed by college placement cell. The placement for commerce students are better than science.overall I can say the placement of my college is okay.

College Events

My campus life was the best part of my college life.there are many events every department organise its own fest so every student gets to participate. Then there is the college fest whoever wants to participate can give interviews to student council. Because of large crowd in delhi university north campus the fests are kind of big.

Campus Life

My college infrastructure is good.A new building was added few years ago. We have sports facilities like gym, grounds, etc. Wifi does not work properly. equipment in lab are okay, they can be improved. Washrooms in the old building really need improvement.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

College placements are amazing. Right now the recession is there otherwise the average package of Computer Software and IT branch is as high as 21LPA and overall average package of the college goes as high as 14LPA

My honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
