Most awesome thing I like about is its greenery and environment. In Infrastructure context our college lags behind from other IIT's but good news is it is developing.

I took IIT JEE, Rank 290 in ST Category. It's an old prestigious college with 6th ranking all over India and one of the reason I choose this college.

Course curriculum is designed that suits best for Engineering Field all courses with proper Lab Subjects,projects etc also includes Humanities Courses,Creative practice courses which are newly integrated to B.Tech. and M.Tech. Courses following MIT course curriculum.

Yes college provides internship. All well known companies like facebook,google,oracle etc had approached our college and offered preplacements offer to the students. Almost in every field well known companies had approached our college and still approaching.

Placement and job opportunities are good but it depends upon student also from college side all well known company visits. 2 crore package from oracle was offered to one of our college's student from CSE branch maximum placement was abut 67 lakhs from electrical branch etc.

Many events are there like Cultural Fest Kaashiyatra Technical Fest Technex Sports Fest Spardha Participation is huge in these three fests many guest lectures,big bands, celebrities had attended this fests and many other small fests like Aagman,Robowar,Specific Branch fests-like shilp etc.

Fee structure is feasible as it is government institute fees is decided by central authority.Semester wise fees is approximately Rs 45,000 for general category and 5,000 for ST/SC category. Other then this Mess fee Rs 12,000 for everyone. One time fees like admission fees,Registration Fees etc are one time incentives to be paid at the time of admission only.

Various scholarships are offered to students on the basis of category,economical conditions etc. Like MCM Merit cum means scholarship offered to the students on the basis of their academics and economical condition in which full fee is academic fee is refunded to the students. Loan facilities are available from the bank.

Campus is full of diversity with huge varieties of flora and fauna with good connectivity with city good security for students, gender ratio boys are many more than girls, awesome playing fields you can find almost all games played here,24 hrs internet facilities in hostels with very good speed,market for all basic needs near from hostels etc.

Some hostels are old so their infrastructure is not as good as other IIT's but they are being renovated.But newly constructed hostel contains all facilities like TV Room,TT Room etc. Every hostel is equipped with water cooler,Canteen,Mess facility. Mess food is comparatively good in comparison of other colleges as I heard from my friends from other colleges.

Alumni network is not so much good but in average they are helpful to the juniors they are connected socially as well as physical up to the some level.

In one semester two class tests are conducted weighing 25% and one end semester exam weighing 50% of total weightage class test weightage comprises of all assignments quizes etc. Minimum attendance criteria for passing semester is 75% of total classes held in one semester. Lab exams are also their may be written or VIVA type.

Talking about faculty there is lack of faculty since IT BHU had converted to IIT BHU after conversion seats were increased so number of faculties are less for the students presently studying. But the faculties available are senior enough and has much experience of teaching and are wisely maintaining vacancy they had worked in many government projects and still doing. One of the weak point is there is lack of young faculties.
