Remarks

Baselius college Kottayam is a very reputed college which provides quality education.I was interested in pursuing a graduation in English language and the first recommendation I've received from my peers was this college. The highly educated and supportive faculty improves the quality of education provided. The department also hosts many programs and talks which would give me a better exposure to this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

Baselius college has gained a NAAC accrediated A grade which shows the quality of education provided.The syllabus is very much reliable and updated. The college hosts many programs and fests which gives enough exposure. The college also is well concerned about the extra curricular activities and is a very reputed college which provided many great sportsmen to Kerala football team.

Placement Experience

I am a third year student and the placements happen to the last of the semester. To the best of my knowledge the placements are not very happening here. Students mainly opt for higher education.

College Events

The college provides a wide variety of extra curricular activities and it is a very good opportunity for the students. It also hosts many programs,fests and talks which gives students a better exposure which is out of the box.

Campus Life

The sports facility in the college is superb and has provided many great sportsmen to the kerala football team.The library is very well maintained and updated.The labs are well equipped too.Out of all the colleges in Kerala, there are only some which provides good sports facility and Baselius college is definitely among one of them. The college also provides a sports quota which enables students with greater interest in sports to get admission in this college and improve their skills and talents. The library in the college is well equipped with a vast collection of books and is well maintained. This library also provides a very calm and quiet atmosphere for people to read calmly.The labs in the college are also well maintained and equipped and are fitted with improved technology.

Nothing tell about bad things only good thing are there.

Our college comes under the Kerala Technical University(KTU) and the syllabuses are those of KTU syllabus updated on 2016. College and faculties promote and provide chances for Industrial visit in industries all over India. The faculties of our college are well experienced and with better qualifications. Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

I choose this college because this was the best college I was getting from my rank obtained in KEAM. I cleared the cutoff for this college in second round.Admission here are given on the basis of their rank of obtained in either KEAM(Kerala engineering architecture medical entrance test) or NATA.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I applied in many colleges even in one of my favourite CMS college but I didn't get admission there. Moreover I got admission in St thomas College pala but I rejected it over baselius because of its department. The admission process in our college can be apply through their websites or even online portals based on the seats and availability. I took admission on merit based so as a highly challenging course among other courses it is difficult to get admission in bcom on merit basis.
