Remarks
Management is not upto the mark. One can clearly feel the politics infrastructure is one of the unique and one could not related it to any regular PGDM college. Yes one can spend 2 years with enjoy and can learn a lot in different ways.
Entrance Preview
I was appeared for CAT and scored 88.91% percentile. I have four options but i chooses IMDR because of its culture and low fees. There are in total four rounds of interview happened in Pune. Team work round where we were given plastic blocks and we have to build a campus then there is an personal behaviour round. Afterward there was Excel test and essay test.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is really good with lots of emphasis is given on Self learning. It is well distributed in six trimesters. Internal faculty is average but external faculty is very good, they are very seniors most of them passed out from IMDR only having 10+years of experience.
Internships Opportunities
Internship experience was average as there are only few companies visited the campus. I was placed for AC Nielson for Market Research project with a stipend of 4000 Rupees although i did not join and came back to my hometown Delhi and completed my Internship with Big Bazaar.
Placement Experience
We have a batch of 46 persons almost all of them are placed except few who does not want to get placed and wanted to start their own business. Some big companies like Nomura,TCS,Tata technologies,Tata Motors,Novartis,Berger paints,Bajaj Allianz and HDFC came to the campus and hires numerous students. Package varies from 3.6-6 Lakhs per annum.
College Events
There is Induction program organized by seniors where Juniors learn to experience lots of stuff. Sanskriti program is organized by College where people from different states introduced their culture. Alumni meetings are main course of attraction which lasted for 2 days with lots of programs. Various small culture programs also introduced in between.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no such scholarships in our college.
Campus Life
Campus life is one of the best as people from different parts of India joined this college one can easily find people from Punjab to Chennai. Gender wise there are 2 females per 3 boys. Computer labs are average. Library is one of the best in Pune. Lots of competitions are organized specially sports and participants participate in lots of State level competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available only for Boys. Hostel rooms are very ordinary and triple sharing basis. Fees is very less and bathrooms have to shared between 10 people. PG's are easily available but cost of living is high nearby college area with 1BHK could easily go upto 15-20K. PGs are available at 7-8k per person.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are one of the best. They are very helpful during placements and internships and sharing their wisdom. I learned a lot by sharing some quality time with them. Apart from Education they also help in accomodation as well.
