Remarks

It has successfully managed to retain its position of best NIT from last 5years, so every student would want to study here. Computer science being the most sought after branch, has very high cutoffs but i managed to get admission here and didn't even think of any other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is so well designed that you feel you are in a foreign university. Practical knowledge is provided a lot which makes you ready for the industry. Many industry leaders are invited to interact with us. Faculty is well qualified and helpful.

Placement Experience

If you are well talented you will find very high package jobs very easily. Even if you are average you will get a job of 9-10lakhs per annum easily. All the big companies visit here like Google,Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Adobe, Samsung etc.

College Events

Great campus life with lots of enjoyment and fun throughout the semester. Many events are held by the college socities both technical and non-tech. Sports meets are organised anf big fests are also organised.

Campus Life

There is a seperate playground for every sport like cricket, football, tennis, 2 badminton grounds, swimming pool, a well maintained gym. Wifi is available. Labs have all the equipments from basic to advanced.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
