Remarks

This college is average college with excellent infrastructure and corporate connections. The education curriculum and atmosphere within the campus is soothing for students overall betterment.

Entrance Preview

I have joined the MBA-AIT Advanced Information Technology Course in September 2005 batch. I took the CAT examination and got 91 Percentile marks. I had done my Bachelors in Information Technology and always wanted to do MBA in Information Technology since then. This college was listed in the CAT Admission Form and the Course curriculum and Course structure was really commendable on those years. There were very few colleges in India offering similar colleges with decent repute. This was one of the most important reasons for me to opt for this college. I got Interview call based on my application and the CAT results. The Interview process was challenging but upto current demands of Information and Management mix of aptitude required by graduates.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course Structure was a mix of theoretical and practical based of learning. The course comprised of ERP (SAP),SAS Analytics programming,Software Engineering along with General Management,Financial,Human Resource and Information Technology Management subjects. The subjects were mainly case study based and practical oriented that encouraged and enhanced presentation and communication skills along with subject knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provided internship to deserving students ans assisted students to avail internship from the industry while studying in last trimester. The general Stipend was Rs. 5000 to Rs 8000. The overall experience of studying and competitiveness of the environment was quite challenging and refreshing.

The annual event comprised of bringing in people from Music,Corporate and Event Management companies to conduct a engaging and refreshing environment for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was feasible and not expensive although Bank provides education loans. The fee was divided into semester wise payment structure that included separate charges for Hostel accomodation food and Library expenses. The fee structure was at that time INR 307000 including INR 25000 as Registration,Admission fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

College didn't provided any loan facility as per my knowledge though it provided scholarships for deserving students who scored in top 3% of scores.

Campus Life

4.5

The college interview and intake process was very transparent and baed on that the gender ratios were 60/40 for Boys/Girls. All students has to stay in campus hostels. Students from various countries used to come for higher studies. This college has no reservations for gender, caste, religion or colour.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There were 3 in-campus hostels. Each hostel had Single occupancy,Double Occupancy,3 occupancy and 4 occupancy based. The food was common for all and it was quite good. The food was hygienic, comprised of mix of different types of foods based at peoples from various parts of the country. The food was provided in specific time slots each for breakfast, lunch and Dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is always strengthened as every year a new batch passes out and they join our internal alumni network. They in coming years when rise above the ladder in corporate world, brings their company to their college to hire talents which assists college placement events.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very competitive with adequate facilities for students to get themselves chilled out. Exam structure was a mix of theory and practical exam based. Most of the subjects had Lab examinations attached with the theory exams. The scores of both the exams were taken as percentages and added to cumulative grading system.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college were a mix of college recruited professors full time (MBA from reputed colleges with 10+ years of Teaching experience) as well as visiting faculty from IIMs,SPJIMR and Symbiosis college. Each Faculty was rated by the students as well as seniors and fellow professors and based on the ratings the teaching was also made competitive.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
