Remarks

I chose this college because this was the college near my home city that had the course B.pharm. I first thought of taking MBBS but I couldn't get admission. So I took B.Pharm. The transportation facility is good as I can reach the College via bus or train. This college is near to the Payangadi Railway Station.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Pharm is an Undergraduate course to become a pharmacist. The syllabus was updated in 2017. Before 2017 the course was based on yearly exam. From 2017 it was updated to semester wise system where there would be a total of 8 semesters. The issue faced by the semester system is that there is not enough gap between exams. There is practical and theoretical exam for many subjects.

Placement Experience

Our college doesn't provide any placement for the graduated students. Job opportunities of B.Pharm includes pharmacist in community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy. There is also PG course M.Pharm that can be chosen after B.Pharm.

College Events

The college had always conducted healthy competition like college day, arts day, freshers day and sports day. Also the festival events like Onam and Christmas is also celebrated. Our college have its own auditorium hall that fits every students and staffs. The events are hosted by the respective batches that is selected.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
