Remarks

Crescent college of pharmaceutical sciences is one of the pharmacy college in Kannur that have almost every pharmacy courses. Pharmacy courses like Diploma in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy and Pharm.D is offered in this collegile. I opted this college because there is no other colleges that offers B.Pharm degree which is near my home town.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a UG degree to become a pharmacist. The college doesn't provide any industrial exposure. The faculties recruitment is one of the worst thing I felt about the college. Many of the junior teachers doesn't provide a quality teaching. The syllabus is up to date. The course is divided into 8 semesters and there would be an end semester exam theoretically and practically. Also there would be an additional 2 sessional exams for both theory and practical, which is conducted by the college itself. End semester exams can be attended only if we qualify for these sessional exams by more than 50 percentage.

There is very less job opportunities in our community. The salary package is also very low for starters. Our college didn't provide industrial exposure to us. Also they don't provide any placement to the graduated students. Graduated students mainly works in the local pharmacy in our community for experience. Some graduates would opt for M.pharm degree.

College Events

The college have conducted many cultural events like Onam and Christmas celebration. Extra curricular activities like arts day, sports day and college day is also conducted by respective classes. These competition were always fun and thrilling. Almost every students participate in these competition by representing thier respective batch.

My course is bsc physics.its not very hard.our teacher are very friendly while class ane out side the class. They will constantly contact as they help as to improve stadies .this course will help as to do work as scientists and teachers. That's the only option after bsc physics

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
