Amish Thekke Parambil's Review On Don Bosco Institute Of Technology - [DBIT], Mumbai

The college infrastructure is very good, plus it's famous for being a sport centric college. The college has three grounds, for students to chill or play during the breaks, and it also provides sports equipments to students. Everything is maintained well, the faculty is amazing, and soft copy of every chapter is available on the college education portal.

Course syllabus is handled by Mumbai University. The faculty are amazing, because they help students, to participate in national level hackathons and other competitions. A good amount of practical teaching is being conducted by the college and they hold workshops on topics which are not there in syllabus, such as game development and app development

I was in an internship with Jio, thanks to the faculty. I did a 2 month internship where I made an app for the JioPhone.

Companies like Amazon Web services, Cisco, Infosys and Royal Enfield are some of the major companies that come for placement rounds. Job opportunities are good and some students do get Packages more than 10-12 LPA

The college has two main festivals, Hysteria(sports) and Colosseum (Technical). Now DBIT is a part of DBCL, it even has other institutes which provide different courses like BMM, BMS etc. So you will be competing with those students in Hysteria. Colosseum is fully conducted by DBIT and handled by DBIT Student Council. During Colosseum, there are so many competitions held for people such as Anime Quiz, VR Gaming, ESPORTS Gaming, and much more! So for every person, there's a competition. Even seminars are conducted on interesting topics and film directors are called upon during colosseum to interact with students. During Colosseum 2019, Mirzapur Director had come to interact with students! A DJ Nite is there after each festival on the final day, to end the festivals in an exhilarating way! So conclusion, THE FESTIVALS ARE REALLY GOOD!

The library in our campus takes half of 1st floor. It has books on various interesting topics and has a computer lab of its own, where in students can access the digital ebooks catalogue. Students can bring their laptops to college and sit in library with access to a college's mediocre network connection. The college provides so many amenities to students for relaxation. It has 3 grounds, one football ground, one mini basketball court, and one all sports court. The college has a big auditorium, enough to accommodate around 500 persons.
