Course Curriculum Overview

3

the cource curriculum at DBIT is well-structured, covering core IT topics like Data Structures, Algorithms, and AI, which influenced my decisition to join. It balances theory and practicals, preparing students for real- world applications. However adding internships and cirtifications in emerging fields like cloud computing or blockchain would enhamce its relevence . exams are held twice a semester, with a moderate difficulty level , requiring consistent preperation. overall, the curriculum is comprehensive but could benefit from more industry-orinted teaching methods.

Fees and Financial Aid

fee structure (yearly) the anual fee for the bachelor of engineering(IT) cource at dbit is rs 130000 and the total cource duration is 4 years so the overall fees are 520000. fees breakdown tution fees:- 100000 development fees 15000 lab fees 5000 causion deposit (refundable):5000 other charges:5000 fee catogary for different students : general catogary : 130000 per year managemnet quota: is 200000 per year depending upon demand and intake reserved categories: the fees are subsidized as per government polices : students of these catogary pay around 50000-60000 per year. scholerships and financial aid the college provides several scholerships opportunities . governmnet scholerships: sc/st scholerships: covers up to 100% of the tution fees. obc scholerships: covers up to 60% of tution fees for families below families earnig below 800000. Campus Life

5

campus life at DBIT is vibrent and engaging offering a perfect mix of academics, social events, and extracurricular acivitie. annual cultural festivals like colosseum and techinical festivals like hysteria bring students together. sports and facilities are exceptional with provisions for cricket , football badminton and more . extra activities like robotic clubs ,drama club, coading community ect. student-run groups also organize workshops and events .

Admission

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall.

Faculty

4

the faculty to students ratio at dbit is abroximately 1:20 ensuring that professos can provide personal attention to students .faculty members are approachable and open to helping students with acedmitc doubts. some of the faculties members i admire include prof. nilesh sir , who specializes in artificial intelligence and has a knack for explaning complex algorithms with simple examples . The faculty at DBIT is approachable and supportive , maintaining a good 1:20 faculty to student ratio . while most professors focus on practical and theoretical knowledge a few rely too heavily on textbooks learning . the cource structure balances core IT topics and practicals labs but could include more industry-relevent skills like internship in emerging technologies. Exams include internal tests, end- semester exams, and practical evaluations , with a fair making system. though moderately challenging, cosistent preperation ensures good results ,with a low failure rate around 10-15% .

Night Life

5

DBIT'S campus has a calm and peaceful environmetn at night . the campus and library closes around 8 pm while hostel has curfews around 10 -11 pm. students usually go by hanging out in common areas like naaz cafe, prabhat cafe etc. the locality is relatively safe , and student enjoy late night walk . these moment give a relaxed wibe to the college.
