I always wanted to pursue degree in computer science and didn't want to have college much far from my place. So i chose a college near to my location and was searching for the good engineering colleges and came across DBIT. Also i had contact of many alumni from this college and all of them gave very good response about the college and I thereby applied here.

I'm very passionate about computers and hence i love pursuing this course. The curriculum is quite balanced with software as well as hardware concepts. One thing that lacks is advanced and new technologies but for that we are given the freedom to do projects and learn. The academics will be easy if yoy enjoy to program and like the concepts of computers or else you may find a bit difficult. The faculty at my college specially Computer Department are very friendly, helpful and always support you for doing great projects and experimenting with latest technologies.

Software Intern at Quezx. com, unpaid internship but very great experience learned great things on web development. Software security intern at DBIT, unpaid internship on system security, xss and other vulnerabilities. Unity developer in Teknack Gaming Studio which is the first gaming studio in India which is launched by a college.

We have a great number of companies visiting in Computer Department like TCS, AWS, BYJUs, LTI, Capegemini, NSE and many others. The placement cell guides the students very well with the process and also provides training and counseling sessions to make the students ready. The alumi network is also good through the alumni connect programs and events. Also sessions, workshops and guidance from alumni help the students realise the real life issues and problems faced and how to overcome them.

The campus life is quite happy. I miss going to college if I have to sit home. There is a very cool environment which allows the students to relax. There are multiple fests-technical and cultural, department days and various other events organised by multiple student chapters, clubs and groups. We also have other courses in the campus like BMS, BMM, MMS, Hospitality management which also hosts events and we can participate including tasting delicious foods made by the Hospitality students.

The campus has a big area with huge ground in center, a basket ball court, a top court for bigger sports and canteen. There is a big library, a recording studio, digital library, recreation rooms, game rooms. Also the technical infrastructure is very good with multiple labs equipped with good machines, computers, etc. 7-10 labs are there for each department with variable specifications for particular needs of students.
