Remarks
The unique selling point of, pursuing BE in information science engineering from Dayananda sagar college of engineering, is location - the college is located we'll in the city with good connectivity of public transport and relatively affordable locality. Second, most important thing is very good placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are not upto the mark, but you can't expect more than that for a private engineering colleges. Yet some faculties are really experienced and resourceful. Industrial exposure is quite well with ample amount of opportunities.
Internships Opportunities
infrrd.ai, unpaid, java based software developer
Placement Experience
Wide range of companies visit, offering 3LPA to 22LPA. no. Of students placed for package greater than 10LPA - approx 20 out of 120 - (ISE BE) 5LPA to 10LPa - approx 40 students Rest all are placed for avg package for 4LPA
College Events
A lot of cultural activities are present. The CPA- center for performing arts - is remarkable. We have competing teams for almost everything. Sports is also fine (RVCE is the best in sports and it has a quota too). Cultural and technical fests aren't as huge as IITs but are fine. Departmental level fests can keep you engaged.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some for native students, some of my friends paid 30,000 while I paid 2,10,000 for a year. Heartbreaking, I know.
Campus Life
Very beautiful and concise infrastructure, one of the best in Bangalore. Wifi sucks, but external service providers are accessible and are good. The library is huge and amazing. all the labs are good, actually working items. The hostel is overpriced. North Indian food sucks, South Indian snacks are chummeshwari.
Hostel Facilities
I was in NRI hostel. The name is confusing - nothing to do with NRIs, its just better than the other hostel called indian hostel. NRI is double sharing and Indian is quad sharing. Hostels are huge and well ventilated, no specific problems just amazing hostel Life.
