HMRITM was among the few colleges that provides Mechanical Engineering ,although they offer Mechanical & Automation as a major which is a hybrid program. on top of that HMRITM had the best Mechasonic team that went to ITALY in 2105 for SAE
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was a hybrid learning including almost 40% of course from every other stream. IT included subjects such as STLD,Microprocessor& Microcontroller,Control System etc. Faculty was very supportive and gave a practical approach towards each subject. During 1st two semester we were taught various professional courses and training related to our curriculum such as SOLIDWORKS,CATIA,PLC SCADA etc. The complete course is compactly associated with a practical approach.
Placement Experience
Various companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc visit college for placements althoough for mechanical only few companies visit to hire engineers. Non Technical jobs are majority of the organization that hire in HMRITM.
College Events
The campus is surrounded by the farms and is remotely located in Hamidpur village which makes it difficult to travel. Only buses are the public transport available to travel from the college to the relevant places like metro stations. HMRITM organizes technical events and cultural fest events once a year. The campus has all the relevant labs for practical learning and an additional asset for MAE students is the Mechasonic Lab that prepare F1 inspired cars for SAE.
