Remarks

Dayanand sagar is one of the top and reputed college. It was one among my top priorities. It has a huge campus and good placements. And the faculty are quite friendly and since my chemistry was my powerful subject I opted chemical engineering and also this branch has got wide scope since not many people opt this field job opportunities are wide enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

We've got a wide curriculum, great faculty, well devoloped infrastructure and we have a lot of co curricular activities which help students build social, intellectual, communication and other such skills.

College Events

Campus life is also good. We have 2 big fests a year. The fests are one among the top fests of Bangalore. We have a association of students ie. Centre of performing arts for cultural and other co curricular activities and management.

Campus Life

The campus is great with good infrastructure. We have been provided with a digital and non digital library with great books. The campus has its own gym, yoga building, hostels, canteens and other such structures. Labs are well equipped and sports related structures are also well built.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is okayish. And according to me the fee to be paid is lil too costly. Well hostel seats are limited and rooms are by far 4 sharing. Food is okay. Water is available 24/7. Washing machines are available.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

I had some priorities in the colleges and I placed the colleges in the same order Dayananda Sagar College of engineering was in my 6th option and after me getting my ranking i saw the previous year cutoff and I was sure that Dayananda Sagar College wil be the college i will get according to my option entry and my rank And i was also fixed to this college itself I didn't see the above 5 colleges as my option because my ranking and the college cutoff was not matching and had great difference and i didn't got admission to any other college i directly got admission in the same Dayananda Sagar College after the allotment through the dcet exam I wrote the dcet exam after completing my diploma they take the average of last year of diploma and the dcet score and average them and give the ranking these are the main criteria and the college gives space for students according to the categories given from the government for each category certain seats should be given to those category students itself like that...Read More
