This college was based in chennai and initially I was not that good in communication. Also the placements were pretty good and it always saw a placement of 100%, so I had high hopes from this college for my career.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is welll designed by IGNOU and NCHMCT both of them. It not only teaches about the hotel management but also about sales, marketing and HR. Faculties are both south indian and north indian, they are great in their subjects.
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship with Taj Hotels, I was designated as an industrial trainee. Stipend provided was 1250 pm. I got this internship through my training co-ordinator of my college. I faced a gd round and a PI to get this internship which was held in our college itself.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good here. Companies which comes to the campus are ITC Hotels, Taj, Oberois, Lemontree, The park, Hyatt, Hilton, GRT, Feathers, Ramada, Workafella, Bata, Reliance, Tacobell, Dominos. Profile mainly offered are Management Trainees and Store Management Trainee and other associate level jobs in hotels. E- Cell in college is not that active. Alumni network is also not good. Atul kochhar is a notable alumni of our college.
College Events
Campus life was great, there is this food fest we organise every year with the help of our faculties and all the stuents. We get sponsorship from Pan indian companies and it always has a footfall of 500 guests. It serves cuisines of all the states in india, cultural events are also there.
Fees and Financial Aid
NO, There is scholarship offered for SC, ST and OBCs. Loan can be availed by anyone who is completing the admission criteria.
Campus Life
There is a basketball court and a cricket and football ground in the campus itself. Also, there is a badminton court and table tennis facilities in there. Wi- Fi is available in campus and library is open during college hours which has magazines and news papers along with pertaining books of our course
Hostel Facilities
No, I was staying outside. PG's rent was around 7000-10000 pm, according to the facilities availed. You can find PGs and flats quite easily near college. Also, PGs provide food and accommodation facilities separately, its up to students what they want to choose.
