Remarks

IIT being an institute of national importance opens up a lots of opportunities and gives a recognition amongst other top institutes. Alumni of these institutes currently occupy high positions in industries and academia thus providing connections to these areas.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus does include both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. There is sufficient amount of industrial exposure to provide the required knowledge of the field. Faculties are immensely dedicated to help us learn and are very supportive.

Placement Experience

Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipcart, Wipro, Walmart, Cane etc. visit for placements. An average of 80% students get placed in our department. Alumni network is quite strong for job referrals from our college.

College Events

Campus life is full of learning both culturally and academically. A lot of events take place including tech fests, sport fest and cultural fests. There is a huge level of participation, not only from our college but also from other local colleges of Dhanbad and nearby localities.

Srinath university is a good college overall but in developing stage. It will be very better in upcoming years.

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
