Remarks

The following reasons are: Indian Institute of Information Technology, Surat is one of the distinguished colleges in India. Being a part of CSE course in IIIT, Surat was suited for my Rank. Also, the college has a very vision as it's known for the institute of National importance, in collaboration with SVNIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is autonomous, and keeps it's courses up to date as per the Govt. norms. As the college is situated in the textile city of Gujarat, the college organizes various drives, so that student get exposure and experience in various fields. The faculties are above average and are humble and kind to everyone. Dr. Prof. Sheetal Singh (HOD CS) is the best one yet.

Placement Experience

The Placement is quite average in IIIT, Surat. The companies included technical firms and consultancy companies like Wipro, Flipkart, Cognizant, L&T Infotech etc. An average of about 60 percent students gets placed in the companies with a salary package ranging from around 5 lakhs to max 17 lakhs. The alumni network involves alumnis from all IIITs and are very well in informing and encouraging students.

The college is full of fests, has a cultural fest Named SPARSH, the Autumn fest, Departmental Tech Summits, Sports collaboration with brotherly college SVNIT and are eagerly participated by the students.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024. These college only accept jee mains score and no exams will be accepted for b.tech admissions, General cutoff of my college for cse is 35k and for ece is 47k in jee mains....Read More

IIIT SURAT IS IN BUILDING PHASE

The college is very simple it focuses of an academic really very well and you don't get any cultural and sports academics benefit Radhe you should off for another college of you have interest in sports and cultural activities apart from it the academics are very hectic and for the admission you have to go through and you get this college the admission process of quite simple as you have to report and you have to just follow the procedures as we have been told in jail...Read More
