I was attracted to DG Vaishnav College based on both its academic reputation as well as knowing several others from my high school whom I respected attending here ahead of me. DG Vaishnav College has lived up to its academic reputation and more. I have found opportunities for personal growth and development not only academically, but also to expand beyond classroom knowledge. Most of my professors in my major have real world experience outside of academia and it shows. The professor for the capstone class in my major was instrumental in guiding me to an internship this past summer which greatly expanded my professional experience.

Yes the course curriculum helps us a lot in grooming up to this industrial world and it also helps us in answering the questions that has been asked by the placement executives yes, Industrial Visit are organized for every batch students during the second year of the course. The lecturers are very much talented in each of their profession they have completed more than 3 or 4 degrees and some of them completed PhD also so there coaching is easy for us to understand the subjects and they are friendly with each and every students yes the lecturers are experienced in industrial sector. Many companies visited for campus placement drives in our campus, and some companies of placement for all courses general steps of every company is group discussion group interview brainstorming and one to one interview, nearly 80 percentage of students been placed every year true for campus placement system, The institution communications skills to all the students for attending campus.

There many culturals event in our college. Each and every department have their own cultures. There is slot for every department and they are allowed to have their culturals on their given slots and the culturals are more enthusiastic and the college students are allowed to come. Sangam - This was the most awaited before corona but unfortunately it doesn't happened this year. VBazzar - This is to entertain the upcoming entrepreneur to have a idea of starting a business. In this students are allowed to start a stall of their own and the profit they earned are given to the students itself.

The managements provides scholarships for SC and St categories people they offer about 10000 per month which is kind of useful for those people who come from long distance like tiruvallur and other exteriors of chennai.

The College is situated in a salubrious atmosphere, well within the city limits. The shrines of Goddess Vidya Lakshmi, Lord Vidya Ganapathy and Goddess Saraswathi, spread an aura of the rich heritage. Lord Krishna, the presiding deity of the College, enshrined in the campus is enthroned in our minds and hearts. The Campus spread over 25 acres of land spacious and green provides an ambience conducive for higher learning.
