Remarks

One of the finest college in kerala, with prominent aluminis. Top class teachers and completely students friendly, strictly ragging free. It also the second oldest college in Kerala, with deep rooted experience in the field of education.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is quite good, timely updated academic calender and commencement of exams, most faculties are also extremely students friendly. But the university is quite ignorant to the needs of B. Arch students, compared to B.Tech students.

Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell of GEC is very active and efficient, many prominent personalities passed out from GEC, the missile women of India Tessa thomas is one among the alumni of GEC, many students are placed at renowned firms like VIPRO, MRF, Oracle etc.

College Events

GECT is the best ever thing that has happened to me, life at GEC is once in a lifetime experience, The students voice are always heard and it hosts the best national level multifest called Dyuthi, GEC also hosted the first KTU tech fest.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
