Remarks

The college is a sikh minority college and has reservations for sikh students so it was easy for me to get admission here. Also the college has constantly performed in the academics and one of my brother's friend got placed at a package of 9lpa

Course Curriculum Overview

Course of first year is similar for all the branches. Syllabus is made in such a way that students can easily understand the concept and logic behind what they are studying. Some of the topics have no relevance to the present time technology and hence must be removed. Faculty members are excellent and.teach very well.

Placement Experience

Talking about IT branch, what i have seen and heard from the seniors is that an IT student has more opportunities than.a CSE student so it is easy for a IT student to get placement. 90students got placed at a package of 3.5lpa around 5students got placed at a package of 5lpa and 3students got placed at.a package of 8lpa.

College Events

Campus life is too good. Students here are very excited always and lots of fun activities happen during the college time. If you are a little extrovert you will love the college atmosphere. A big fest is also organised which is one of the most exciting fests around the delhi colleges and regular events happen in the college

Campus Life

Campus size is sufficient for students who come to study and small for the ones who come for enjoyment. College has all the labs and all the facilities one might need during the course. Library is in excellent condition and has.all the books. Labs have all the latest technology equipments

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. The cutoff for this college is you'll get CSE branch if your rank is below 3L and CSE specialised branch if rank is below 5L for IT below 6-7L....Read More

Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there. Frequency and timings of exam is medium on their difficultly level.
