Remarks
Because it is one of the famous engineering colleges of Delhi. It is a Sikh minority college and it was easy for me to take admission here due to reservations for sikhs. Also the fees here is much less than other engineering colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course taught here is decided by GGSIPU which is a govt. Recognised university and hence their syllabus is up-to-date and student friendly. No such industrial exposure is provided here. Faculty are avg, some being excellent while some being low.
Placement Experience
Placement depends upon the skills of the students. Many students are able to get decent package but only one or two get high package. Placement cell is very helpful though.
College Events
If you are a sikh or an extrovert, you won't find any difficulty here in making friends but if you belong to some other religion and introvert you may find it difficult to interact. It having said so I doesnot mean there is any kind of discrimination here. Teachers are very friendly in nature. College holds various events and seminars regularly.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarships are provided by the college but one may still go and talk in the office of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee and they might help students from economically weaker sections.
Campus Life
Campus is small in size with no playground, no proper gym and no WiFi. Library is good with all the books. There are equipments in the lab but many times they don't work. The college has various sports teams who have won many competitions too.
