Remarks
In my point of view this college is the best college for any student who wants to take admission in any engineering college with negligible fees and better placement facilities. The college is one of the top engineering colleges in Gujarat. The campus is also awesome and so is the hostel and canteen. The teachers are also very friendly. So I recommend this college to everyone.
Entrance Preview
I took JEE mains exam to get admission in this college. I scored a total of 140 marks in JEE MAINS. My merit number was 1630 among the various students in Gujarat. The admission process is very simple. You have to fill the form through ACPC website and have to fill your choices according to your priority.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure this college follows is as per Gujarat Technological University. In the first semeste Bridge Course is taught to clear all the concepts of students before core Engineering is started. The various topics taught in the bridge course were ECE Essentials of Civil Engg,SCC,Maths etc. After the bridge course in the 1st and 2nd semester all the subjects in the field of engineering are taught. In the second year core subjects in the particular field are taught. The placement happens in the 7th semester.
Internships Opportunities
Yes my college provides Internships. Last year many companies such as IIM Ahmedabad,Flu-tech came for Summer internships. The stipend was about rupees 10000 per month. Flu-tech taught students in the field of Design and development while IIM ahmedabad taught in the field of healthcare. Other companies such as Cybage,Tata Concultancy Services,IBM also provided Summer Internships for students.
Placement Experience
The placement and job oppurtunities in this college is plenty. Various companies such as TCS,accenture,Cybage etc came for placements. The average salary for placed students was about 3 lakhs per annum. The maximum package obtained by a student was about 15 lakhs. Among the 120 students of computer engineering more than 83 students were placed which is higher than any other branch of engineering in this college.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in my college. For example Spandan,Youth Festival,La Garba etc. Most famous among them is La Garba which is a 2 day Garba festival attracting more than 1000 people. Spandan is a festival in which students can express their talents in forms of dance,singing,acting,drama,debate and various other competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is a 1500 rupees per annum. It is affordable to most of the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarships are provided in this college such as CM scholarships for OBC,ST and SC category students. The OBC students are provided with rs 10000 per year worth scholarships. Students who have scored more than 80% marks in 12th and get more than 8.0 SPI in all semesters are provided scholarships under CM scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
The campus life is very cool. There are various extracurricular activities such as Sports Festival,La Garba festival etc. There is a big cricket ground and a tennis court for sports activities. The gender ratio is about 950 per 1000 males. Varoius contests in the field of Robitics and debates are also held.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is also good and clean. The food in the mess is also healthy and hygenic. The hostel rooms are available in plenty. The hostel fees is also very less. The hostel rooms are clean and well maintained and 2 students are allowed per room. There is no ragging done in the hostel by the seniors.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very helpful. They provide us the best help in our projects and guide us. The seniors are also very helpful. They provide us with important questions and lecture notes. They also help us in clearing our doubts. I had a great problem in my project as I was stuck at a particular problem. But my seniors helped me out in this problem and thus I completed my project successfully.
