Remarks
I like electronics and hardware, so i chose electrical engineering. I always wanted to study engineering and get into IIT since i was in 9th grade. The diversity of courses, campus itself, seniors are very helpful and so are the professors, and the level of exposure are some things i like about my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is fairly diverse, and includes courses in all the different areas of electrical engineering. It includes ample amount of labs for hands on and industrial experience. The faculty is highly knowledgeable and excellent!
Placement Experience
It will be my first time sitting in the internship season at my college. A lot of reputed companies including but not limited to Texas Instruments, Samsung, Microsoft, Nvidia, UBER come for interns and placements every year. Placement rate is close to 100% in all batches
College Events
Our cultural fest, Rendezvous, is the best out of all the college cultural festivals in India. Last year, almost 5000 people attended the concerts on each day. The technical fest, tryst, sees lots of hackathons, Talks on current research topics, showcase of projects of different departments and sessions on various departments including AI, IoT, Computer vision etc.
Campus Life
Lab equipment is up to date, specially the workstation PCs provided for AI/Quantum research have latest powerful hardware. The library is huge with 3 floors, and is open 24 hrs for students to study. Campus-wide wifi is available, with high speeds (around 170 mbps)
Hostel Facilities
IIT Delhi provides hostel facility for all the students registered in any full time course. It is upto the student to choose ergo its easy to avail hostel facility. Hostel rooms are average, there are 2/3 people sharing one room in all the hostels.
