My college is famous for its strictness. Faculty is one of the best in Nagpur region. The flagship event "Insight" is very interesting. 75% Attendance is mandatory which is a good thing for an engineering college. Placements are decent for all branches except mechanical.

I appeared in MHCET maharashtra engineering aptitude test in which I score 92 marks out 200 to get admission via Centralised Admission Procedure. I had several options while selecting other branches in college but I preferred Computer Engineering over others because I have lot of interest in programming languages and love to Code.

The college get popularity in short span of just 10 years. Every year companies like Tech-Mahindra,L&T Infotech visit campus and recruit top quality students from our college. There is no stipend offered for Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Placement and job opportunities provided in college is low for core branches but for rest Computer Engineering and IT is almost 80% of the total students. The packages offered varies from 1.2-3.5 lacs per annum.

The flagship event of college is named as "INSIGHT" which is organised in January of every year. The technical event is held named "TECHNEX" at inter collegiate level which consists of robo competitions other fun events etc. The festivals and national republic day are the ones you can watch too.

The fee stucture is for Rs 84500 rupees which has to be paid annually for full course 4 years. The CAP admitted students falling under OBC get 50% while SC,ST and minority students get 100% scholarship respectively.

I am availing Central Sector Scholarship by DHE pune which is worth Rs 10000 for a year paid for Rs 1000 monthly for 10 months. You can get educational loan very easily from partnered Federal Bank.

Campus life is quite a bit hectic as all working days (Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday 9 am to 12 pm) consists of lectures and practicals mandatarily. You get lectures such as E-resource,Personality Develeopment lectures every week to improve your professional qualities.

College is famous for rich Hostel facilities provided by management. As i have been a local student I am not experienced the hostel life yet but the friends of mine keep talking about the quality food they provide. Apart from that the sports facilities include seperate play grounds for Football,Basket ball,Badminton,Swimming pool,Carrom and most important Jym.

One of my senior friend tells me that "Pretty decent college for engineering with a decent faculty for mechanical engineering the only problem being the university its a part of Nagpur University. Syllabus needs to change. Decent campus. Important to focus more on imparting knowledge rather than marks". I think the college is good to impart your technical skills.

The college follows semester pattern following Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University consists of two exams every year. The regular sessional exams make a hectic day for students.

I can say that the assessment and management provided in St. Vincent College Of Engineering is much better than other colleges in Nagpur. The faculties are much well educated and are great in imparting knowledge to students.
