My Youth My College Days.

This college is A good College as per now. It has a potential to be the Number 1 Rural college in future. But it has to change some Management Decision like avoiding Cultural Parties and Sports. Funding for Events and Programs should be Given from future onwards as Events make a Good Mouth Publicity of College. But for now my youth my college dayzz.

I gave CET 2010 exam for entrance to Engineering. I got 96 marks out of in 200 in this exam. This college gives admission for students ranging from 55 onwards mark In CET Exam. I choose Engineering as I loved this field. There is no Separate Interview for admission. Admission is purely based on CET marks.

Course is based according to Pune University Syllabus. All assessment is done under university schemes.Marking Scheme consists of Theory, Practical and Term Work.There are 4 electives out of which 2 are compulsory.Faculties are less experienced, as they are freshers. Standards are not very high.

This is a Rural College and There is no Internships program at this moment. The college will have an Internship program soon. As there's no Internship program there's no Stipend. Campus Recruitment is not strong I'm current situation.

As its a Rural college and its just 6 years old, there's less Campus Recruitments. Job opportunities are limited to Top most students. Just 2-3 companies visit every year. Softseed Private Limited Came previous year with a package of 2.4 /annum package. Apart Communications came with a 3.0/annum. 2 students just got placed in this.

Not much scope is given in Celebrating cultural events.Students are from Rural area and can't afford to spend much in Cultural Fest. Some Technical events do occur every year. International Conference on Science and Technology 2K14 was organized last year. Ockulus 2015 was organized this Year.Around 80-90 % students attended this events and 50% participate. Prizes from 3000 onwards are given to Winning Teams.

Comparing the fees with other Urban Top colleges the fee is Feasible. But according to facilities provided and Surrounding of the college its a Bit too High. Tution fees are much higher than normal colleges. Fees range from 65000- 85000 according to Castes.

College has Various Scholarship based on Caste Systems. Open Caste has No Scholarship program.Some Open or General caste students get EBC Scholarships. OBC students has FREESHIPS and SCHOLARSHIPS. Other Castes also get 80-90% fee discount from Pune University.

Its a Rural college and lack of development can be seen in first glance.There is Not Much Entertainment In College CampusCampus is Situated on Hilly region.Greenery is All Around the campus. Gender Ratio is Equal.Hostel parties occurs once in a while. Cultural parties do lack.As there's strict warning not to celebrate much. Racism is avoided. Politics is Seen in some cases like Electing GS or Hostel Representative.

Hostel Facilities are More then enough.No other colleges may be providing such hostel facilities I'm 15000/year. Hostel has Wifi, Personal Cupboards, Hot Water, Seperate Toilets and Bathrooms. Mess is a Poor quality.Quantity given is Unlimited but Quality is Compromised.Mess is about 25000/year.

As stated this is A new college and just 2 Batch have passed out. Hence there is No much Contacts between the Alumni of the colleges. As time passes the alumni network will stronger. Senior interaction is Brilliant, as all seniors help in every situations. Students willingly help every members may it be Senior or Junior.

Exams are Hectic in every Colleges.Its also the same here.Exam are Carried out Very Strictly, and Cases like Copying or Cheating is not entertained. There are Practical and Orals for 50 marks, Term Work of 25 Marks and 5 subjects of 100marks each.Making a total of 750 marks/ Semester.Chilling out can be seen in Oral days.
