Remarks

I wanted to go in this college as it one of the famous college under MIT - World Peace University,Pune. The college is well known for its academics as well as the placement records. This was my second prefernece in CAP round.

Course Curriculum Overview

The quality of teaching is extremely good and the classrooms are well-equipped with projector and other features. Also the college has its own university so the curriculum is decided by the MIT's World Peace University which is quite up-to-date as compared to the university syllabus. The study does make one job-ready.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is really good. Almost all the students are placed here every year. The highest salary offered was around 19-20 lakh per annum last year, which is quite good. Also, the average salary was 4-5 lakhs per annum. The college is supportive and provides all necessary help.

College Events

The campus life is extremely good. The cultural fest of MIT-WPU is one of the best college events of Pune. During the fest several music bands are called in to perform, like the 'Local Train' performed last to last year which was pretty amazing and students from other colleges are allowed as well. Also MIT's sports is quite good. Sports is motivated here a lot. The loaction of the place is on a hill, therefore it is less polluted and the sceenary is quite beautiful.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

So called MITWPU-Pune

i had applied for ahemdabad university as well. I got admission there as well but i was waiting for confirmation of admission from this college. I chose this college over AU just because this one was located in Pune-the IT hub, and they had made pretty good name all these years. But the name and fame they earned was when the college was under government. Currently it's fully private and the management is very bad. I didnt apply to any other colleges. MIT-WPU is world class!!

MIT has its own evaluation test and also 12th marks minimum of 60% in PCM for general category is just. For SC/ST and OBC is 50% and also get respite in entrance scores and fees as well.
