In the Lap of Nature

The college is overall good. The first thing about the college pepole think about ragging there is some ragging happen in any college as it was also .the second thing is teaching of college faculty is aso impressive they helped us as much they can. The College location is in Lap of nature. There is no rush around 5 km of college. I alwys miss the moutain forest around the college which increse the beauty of college.

I took admission in this college due to my uncle has the close relationship between the some college authorities. When i passed 10+2 my uncle said to my father that why dont you make a engineer in your house. So I went to college and take admission without showing any Entrance Exam certificate due to my uncle, The colllege authority just saw my 10+2 marksheet and gave me a Management Kota Seat, And by the suggestion of my uncle i Chose Electrical Branch in B-tech.

Since i took admission in college i was very nervous because first time i came out from my house to become a engineer . Well when i saw the 1 semester syallbus there is 6 subject in that. I started learning reading the books which i got from libarary.

The experience was too much as good as which i never think in my life. I took experience in 4 Navartna Company which is beyond to my thinking that i will be a part of these Navaratna Company, Like NALCO, HAL, OHPCL, etc. However all the internship was non stipend .they give the chance to understand the things only and make some thing by mind .In 4 years of college life i gave 5 month to these company and i feel proud work under these companies.

The placements is not up to the mark as i think . because when i was studying there is 2 or 3 placement come to the college which is also not dedicated to my Electrical Branch . so i just take part in one which is also giving a sales job. so my thinking is not good for college placement facility.

Fresher Party Event, Farewell party, Event, Annual day event, College Foundation day, Event Yearly, Annual Sports Event, I took part in each n every fuction which is celebrated by college and get some price also. All the function celebrated by the college in mass way. The college chair-person always invite some MP or MLA of Odisha.

I didnt took any loan facility was college. however as i know from my friend the loan facility was user friendly to the students.

The gender Ratio 60:40, Each year we all students threw a party in a hotel and eat lots of different different food, workshop of college was also good. We all friends meet at evening and take tea together and and talk about politics happened in india and our college.

The hostel was good but. College send 4 students in room which i dont feel good 2 is enough according to me but 4 students like distrubance each n every time .however i there is very few rooms which have 2 student capable rooms . The mess system is also very good they had gave 3 days non veg and 4 days veg food. Quality of food is not so good but its not too bad also. The College hostel fees was included to semester fees, but for fooding i have to pay 12000 rupess per month.

Our seniors was too rude in nature the first year they ragged us and after second year there began meet friendly. They also give us some books to read. Which help to our study.

Exam Structure is So simple 6 subject per semester and there is 2 semester in a year Subject relevant labs are good college has as much as facility for the students which we should take in a engineering college.

I went the college regular to understand better by the college faculty. They always speak in english. But slowly slowly i used to understand english and faculty give extra time to make understand better. The faculty was good n lovable to all students.
