Remarks

It’s got the best faculty, the best on ground experience and lives up to it’s number 1 rating. You have a course designed to prepare you for the industry. One cannot praise the faculty enough. And the classroom is a mixed bag. Also MCRC is super fun.

Course Curriculum Overview

Extremely updated. Yes we had the best industry exposure. Almost all of the faculty, even the guest lecturers. Shohini Maam -Cinema Studies (Current director of MCRC), Shaarikh Sir (TV), Hrishikesh Sir (Guest Lecturer- Media and Cultural Studies), Imran Sir (Editing)

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Placement Experience

Not really good. MCRC is not very inviting to a lot of good companies and that has its student missing out on campus placements. This is honestly the only area that they should work in. Their students however end up finding work because of their training throughout the program but still.

College Events

Jamia is so open, MCRC has people from all cultures, all religions. We have Taleemi Mela every year and during my 2 years we also had Kerala Festival, that celebrated Keralite culture in the most amazing fun way. I had a few Mallu friends who made it even more fun for us. Just FYI, if you are in MCRC, every second day feels like a festival.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Jamia internships are very helpful

Yes I also apply in nit Uttrakhand and i got admission there but i choose jamia milla islamia because of there location and there better ranking in world. I didn't get rejection from nit Uttrakhand jamia is my choice. For admission first you have to qualify jee mains exam after that you have to fill online application form of jamia millia islamia then 7 or 8 days later a list is published by the university if your rank is good enough for jamia you will get admission there....Read More

First of all. Jamia millia is not an college. Its an central university. And i choose it because of their faculty and infrastructure and also for that jamia has 4th top university among all indian university in NIRF rankings. But i also applied for maulana azad college delhi (MAMC) because of its top ranking medical college. But jamia is now good. Admission process:- Eligibility:- you have to crack NEET exam conducted by NTA. After result you have to participate in counseling and in choice filling process you have to apply for this college at mcc portal. Then if you allot jamia millia islamia university delhi then you have to come jamia campus for Admission process. Totally offline process. Also jamia have options for B.Tech; polytechnic, BSc , BA, MA, architect courses but i know in detail only about my medical field.
