Remarks

Near from home, good communication system from my home to college, friendly faculties and seniors as I know, College fees is white less than the other colleges in the Kolkata area and others, workshop of civil department is huge.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil department is very comfortable for all the students in our college where the workshop faculties elaborate everything to us about the practical implementation of mathematics in the civil works, industrial exposure by them are pretty appreciative. Almost all the faculties are very friendly and helpful, specially Mr. Thakur is one of the best teacher among them

Actually I don't know about any company weather visited our college this year or not, but many of our seniors are employed in Larsen and toubro, Tata, Jindal, like big industries. But basically they occupied the vacancies through offline campusing, because online campusing is typically not stable for core stream holders

College Events

College fest and festivals live vishwakarma puja saraswati puja teachers Day freshers day farewell for the seniors are very often in our college. Management team of our college holds the responsibility on their hand.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
