Remarks

Friendly faculties and atmosphere, near from home, engineering is also my passion that's why I choose this for my future occupation, college friends very jolly and helpful, canteen surroundings are quite, there is no ragging in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus and not so easy because of the every month internal exams which are known as CA industrial exposure for students are quite satisfying. The securities are pretty friendly and helpful to guide in every projects, Mr kundu I think one of the most helpful teacher

Placement Experience

Some of our college student starting startup company of their own, the placement process goes through general discussion and aptitude test (online). The management cell are quite helpful in this situation, but the monthly turnover for interfaces are not too satisfactory, so many of them try their best to get a job by off campus.

College Events

Campus life of the college is pretty simple and there are often technical cultural and management festivals around the student ceremonies and also for the teachers. There are many tournaments like pubg, tree plantation carrom, chess, etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
