Remarks

The college management is good . They should focus more on college facilities like canteen, water etc as its not up to level.

I have not given any entrance exam. I am here because I was only getting admission in this college according to my marks in class 12th board.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is awesome and I get to know variety of new things and above that the faculty is more than awesome.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provide internship although I dont know much about it as I am first year student and have not apply for any internship program yet.

Placement Experience

Placements and job oppurtunitues are good. Not very good as many companies do not prefer evening college.They prefer morning colleges firsr . But still some companies come for placement and internship purposes and students get placements not in a very reputed companies but still help them to gain experience.

College Events

Freshers of my college is very good, we enjoyed a lot with good music and food. Fest is also good with decent crowd and people behaving in a decent manner, not like other colleges freshers where the space is less and crowd is more (crossroad, SRCC).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is not expensive at all. It is affordable by middle income mens also. I do not know much about the hostel facility and the mess food as I do not live in the hostel but I heard from my friend that it's quite good . The students are liking it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have a very little idea regarding this as I am new to this college but Yes the college provide loan facilities to students who are unable to pay the fees at lump sum. The college also provide scholarship in varies fields.

Campus Life

Campus life is just awesome.Being a DU student means a lot . There is no discrimination in my college related to gender, caste etc. The college provide various extracurricular activities and one of them is Sangharsh (dramatic society ). It is among the top dramatic society in DU.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students are very helpful . Senior students are helpful at the time taking admission and even in normal days.

The teachers are brilliant in their streams. The best thing I like about the faculty is their punctuality. They are very punctual about time.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choosed HNBGU first but it is in srinagar Uttarakhand that why my parents are not ready to send me there . I choosed this college because It is the best evening college in the Delhi University.
