Remarks

My cousin referred me this college and they said Information technology will be comparitively easy than other courses. My cousin also said that placements were also good in RMKEC so that I thought of choosing this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course syllabus is up to date with emerging technologies like AI and ML.Faculties in my IT department are friendly with students and we are expected to clear our doubts then and there and there will be 2 internals and model and practical examinations.

Placement Experience

Our college is very good for placement opportunities and nearly 200 companies will visit our campus every year and alumni networking is very good and they will help and guide us in the time of placements.They started entrepreneurship cell in our college and students who are interested can join and participate and organize entrepreneurship events.

College Events

Our college organizes n number of technical events and also organizes technical symposiums every year and also conducts culturals and sports events yearly once.In symposiums,students from other colleges can also participate and get benefited.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.
