Remarks

University of delhi is very good university overall for personal development and growth, the university is among top class university in India. It is always ranked among best in country, vibrant culture and environment. DU is one of the best universities in India to pursue UG education. With more than 77 colleges affiliated to it, the university offers over 60, 000 seats in different programmes. Getting admission in the Delhi University is a matter of pride as it is one of the oldest and most reputed universities in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

B. A Programme is a famous course in Delhi University. Course allows you to study combination of subjects and is mostly opted by students who are indecisive of their career. B. A Programme have subjects like English, Hindi, Political science, Economics and History. The idea behind such architecture of BA is to allow students to explore the possibilities, whilst studying, to either go in for further studies or to gain employment after graduation.

Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience

The Placement Cell was founded in 1996 and has a solid track record of getting students jobs through on-campus interviews. Students can connect with the corporate world through summer projects, live projects and on-campus visits by company recruiters. Some top recruiters include Deloitte, Google, GE Capital, Grant Thornton, Taj Hotels and Progeon.

College Events

Delhi University provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities for its students. Each college has its own societies, which compete with the societies of other colleges, time and again, across the academic session, especially during the fest season.

Yes the college also provide the scholarship to needy students. The criteria for scholarships are depends on student family income and many more. University of Delhi there are a lot of scholarships, students can opt them.

Campus Life

The College campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled which can be accessed by students and staff members in the academic block, tutorial block, corridors, open areas, hostels and sports complex. Users are provided a secure access with a login ID and password for using Wi-Fi facility through laptops. It is important that the colleges have very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with state of the art equipment etc

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. I had placed satywati college at the seventh position in my preference list and based on my CUET score and eligibility, I was allotted this college. while i had higher preferences, I couldn't make it to those due to high cutoffs in popular north campus colleges. however, Satyawati offered a decent academic environment and the course i wanted, so i confirmed my admission here....Read More
