This is one of the best colleges in the Delhi University. The best part is that it is situated in North Campus. Also, the faculty and crowd if this college is better as compared to other colleges. The societies are also well recognised and the quality of education is amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is one of the most well equipped colleges. The faculty is by far amazing and very helpful. Teachers are friendly and classes are regular. If you choose to opt B.com here, you are making the right choice. The course is of six semesters with practical subject in every alternative semester. The subjects give you the in depth knowledge you need to have being a commerce student. You can also opt for General Elective or GE subjects of your choice which is a good thing to reflect in your marksheets. It is like an additional subject, worth studying.
Placement Experience
The placements are offered every year and the big four companies like KPMG, deloitte, EY and others come every year to take away the best in the lot. The placement cell- ignite organises these placements in the college. A lot of students get jobs in these interviews and get to work immediately after graduation. Mostly the students of B.com get to bag these jobs. These placements take place in the 5th semester.
College Events
The campus life is something people brag about when they are in DU. And North campus is better than any other choice. You can attend fests of different colleges and stroll around in Arts or Law faculty in the evening. The annual fest of Khalsa is Lashkara, which is a three day event. Many famous celebrities are invited to perform. Amd there are stalls full of food, games and accessories. It is the best time to be in the college. Other departmental fests also take place in the auditorium or seminar hall. People from different colleges can participate in these. Wherever you go, you have fun!
Campus Life
The campus of Khalsa is marvelous. The college has different classes for science and commerce. It also has tutorial rooms for doubt clearing sessions. All the rooms have fully functioning ACs. There's a big ground where you can play any sport you wish to. There's also a gym for sports students, and a Basket ball court. The auditorium is huge where many functions are organised.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has all the facilities. It is a bit expensive but you get everything you need. The mess food is also good, and its hardly a time when you have to order online. The only problem is the curfew timing, which is 8 pm. We find it difficult to rush back quickly. But the safety and security is the best. There's also laundry facility and the common room has TV, carrom board and chess. It is fun to be in hostel of Khalsa.
