This is the most prestigious college in DU. Khalsa has the best faculty, infrastructure, crowd and fests. If you want to experience thr college life, this college is the appropriate choice. Also it is one of the most reputed colleges for commerce related courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are almost 18 courses offered by the college, including streams of science, humanities and commerce. The faculty is one of the best teaching staffs in DU. Course is of 3 years divided into six semesters wherein you get the theoretical and practical knowledge of the subjects offered in this course. Talking about the curriculum, the study plan is well defined and well structured to give you all the knowledge about the specific field.
Placement Experience
The jobs are offered to the students of third year by big four companies in the campus placement drive. A lot of students get selected every year in these companies. There are many other companies which conduct mass recruitment and almost 5 in 10 students are selected with a good package.
College Events
the college provides several extra curricular activities. There's a special three day fest for inter department games called the Khel Mahotsav. Also, various other fests and events take place all throughout the North and South campus. There are annual fests in college from January to March. That is the most enjoyable time in the university.
Campus Life
The campus has a defined infrastructure including department buildings, library and ground for sports. There's also a gymnasium for students of the college. The wifi facility in the college was quite commendable but since jammers have been installed, network remains an issue. All the science labs and computer labs are well maintained and the classrooms are AC equipped.
