I chosen NIT Patna and the course as computer science and engineering because it is a trending technology in the recent world. In the current era, almost everything is directly or indirectly related to it. Since this course offers the highest salary package, and also I was passionate about this course. I wish that the teaching methodology can be made interactive, and our college should make students involve mostly in various projects relevant to our course.

All the teachers of computer science and engineering are well qualified and experienced in their own field. They have published many research papers. The computer science and engineering department of NITP works on skill improvement of students by organizing short term courses on various trending technologies like machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the internet of things from time to time. So students can cope with the industrial demand of the IT sectors. Our course curriculum has been revised recently, and all the irrelevant subjects are removed. The course curriculum is prepared in such a way that students can compete with the IT sector industry. It makes students industry-ready with all the skills which they need.

More than 99% of the students from our course got placed in dream companies. The highest salary package of 43.3 LPA and the average salary package of 8.3 LPA and the lowest salary package of 8 LPA were offered in our course. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Flipkart, Oyo Rooms, Capgemini, Samsung, Adobe, etc. Top roles offered in our course are a software engineer and web and application developer. Almost all the students either get a placement or internship in companies like Oyo Rooms, Amazon, Capgemini, Infosys, Samsung, etc.

The biggest event of our college is - Techno cultural fest of NIT Patna. Its duration is one week. It happens in the last week of January. There are a lot of events in the fest which is very interesting. We invite all the colleges of Patna for the event including IIT Patna. Digital classrooms are equipped with projectors. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has an operating system lab, simulation lab, and various other labs, along with more than 200 PCs. There is also a mini auditorium, playground for cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc. There are departmental libraries, computer centers with more than 7 classrooms, which are equipped with more than 200 computers where students can do their projects or studies. Gender ratio was pretty bad earlier but now for two years, due to female reservation quota number of girls has become double. But still they are 15-18%.
