Remarks
The courses available included professional degrees like ACCA, CA, CIMA etc attaining these will help us to differ from other students at a young age. The college infrastructure is supreme, library is premier and hostel facilities were comparatively better than many. It is also located near to almost all transpotational facilities like bus, auto and even metro. The faculty is also quite good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BCOM syllabus can be updated that's what I believe. Faculties are available for any help and are good at the subject they take. In ACCA, the syllabus is well up to date but faculties kept changing during our first year which made us difficult to cope up with. But this issue has been sorted by the management.
Placement Experience
Every year we have various companies who come for interviews. The Big 4 companies are a constant, the college also does give training programs for such interviews. Alumini's are connected well with the college and few of them has also visited. There has been notable entrepreneurs.
College Events
The college ensures that students know about the various events. they ensure this by sending email and having a class leader who conveys the news to the other students. But sad to say they do not have an active look out on the clubs, and lack of encouragement makes it inactive. Extra curricular activites within the college is performed well. but outside college is the issue.
Campus Life
Wifi is available all throughout the college campus, and is of good quality. We have several labs for research for all departments. We have good computers and various other updated technology required for research. We even have a mushroom Lab where students who are interested can learn in detail. They try various methods to keep the college ecological and sustainable. They grow various indigenous plants and does rain water harvesting too. The power supplied to the college is mainly through the solar power generated through the college solar plants itself. Classrooms have projectors for interactive learning and the classroom as a whole does have great quality chairs and tables. The hall for various occasions is huge and best quality programmes are held there. The library is pristine and has almost all books required for leisure reading as well as research, the management is ready to add more books if suggested. Rajagiri provides sports facilities ranging from basketball, Football, cricket and Badminton. The college also has elevators for the necessary purposes.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good compared to many to where I have been too. There are various options for the no. of people staying in each room. There is Wifi facility in the hostel too, water dispenser of great quality and even water heater is available in the washrooms. They also have a fingerprint scanning system which ensures that students are in and out in the right time. The food provided is also of good quality, and personally I like it.
