Remarks

Delhi university is one of the best universities with minimum fees and highly qualified teachers. Passing from this university can take me 1 step closer to get job in highly reputed companies. And the reason why i have chosen this course is that i have keen interest in economics and also economics has great career opportunities ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is not much updated and we are not getting the practical knowledge which is very crucial at this time. No, we are not provided industrial exposure. In my views , Economics and English faculties are better than any other faculty.

Placement Experience

From delhi university, one can have really good placements.Some of the college alumni have also made a placement cell where they keep on posting about any internship or job. This has really helped in getting internships to many students.

College Events

Many events take place in my college. There are events from different departments (courses). Also every event takes place for 2 days which includes one day of speaker session from reputed personalities and one day of cultural events which includes dancing , singing, nukkad natak, drama etc. This makes students to take participation in co curricular activities.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of my college is good. There are many sports facilities with basketball court, badminton court, big ground , wifi is also there, library is also really big. Things which i don't like is that the campus is not soo big. Canteen is very small and also the furniture is not so good.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Overall, it is a good college.

Before Satyawati College, I applied to various other colleges of Delhi University according to the eligibility. Eligibility criteria of the admission was the marks that the students secured in class 12th. Most of the colleges' cutoffs were above 97 percent and my score was 93.8 percent. Satyawati College Review: what to expect

The admission process for DU happens through the CUET UG exam, followed by the CSAS where students fill out their college and course preferences. I had placed satywati college at the seventh position in my preference list and based on my CUET score and eligibility, I was allotted this college. while i had higher preferences, I couldn't make it to those due to high cutoffs in popular north campus colleges. however, Satyawati offered a decent academic environment and the course i wanted, so i confirmed my admission here....Read More
